We spent the first half of the summer doing the rehersals, publicity, Nate made the programs, & made lots of drink runs, plus had several young adults arrested @ a gas station for yelling the F-word at my children. (They were drunk & a cop just happened to be a cross the street & it was quite the scene. Cops are really here to protect us). Then Eliza & Taylor had 2 weeks of performances & we loved everyone. They love to act & sing & they love being on stage together. So our summer vaction was spent in "River City, Iowa 1912" & we all loved every minute of it.

Eliza played "Taylor" in HSM last fall. I have to admitt I had never even watched the movie until she got her part & then I watched it to see who she was. I was surprised to see she was playing a black girl because she as whit as they come. Thankfully it was chosen by talent not look. The 1st picture is a scence of her & "Gabriella" (Lexy Jones). The 2nd picture is of her & "Chad" (Chad Thompson).

These next 2 pictures are of Eliza & her BFF Annie at HSM on Ice. For her birthday last year we gave her tickets & it just so happened that the ice show was the night after her last matanie. It was fun for her to see "Taylor" & "Chad". She is a bit of a HSM freak. The beginning of the summer we were driving past East High (where I went to school) one evening & who just happened to be outside. Corbin Bleu & Monique ? (Chad & Taylor). Eliza about died.

It's Football Season....

There is nothing like the smell of sweaty hot hair fresh from under a football helmet on a warm summer evening or fall afternoon. I personally didn't grow up a football fan but I live for it now that I have boys that live for it.

Taylor played his 1st year last year & we made him & it was love at first tackel. He got to play at a half time at a Blaze Game & loves being a hog.

This is McKay's 1st year but both boys did the U of U football camp & LOVED every minute of it.

So with that said bring on the football season. It will be a busy one with our boys being on different teams but we will love every minute of it even the injuries because they are considered awards in Grandpa Bart's book :)

It seems as though I was just holding him as a new baby in my arms & now he is an inch & a half shorter than Taylor & playing football, taken the place of my baby brother as the family clown, he's my one that comes in & talks to me on my bed when he cannot sleep at night & I'm waiting for Nate to get home from work, & he has the art of stalling mastered (I have taught him well).



It's fun to see what he is becoming & how social he is. He is my pal at all of Eliza & Taylor's singing & acting events. McKay & I have a great time together.



He is the perfect final touch to finish out our family. I love you McKay. We all do!
